Christine is an accomplished leader with 15+ years experience working in industry and academia. As Senior Business Development Manager in the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS), she is passionate about learning about new technology, and is always seeking opportunities to help industry.
With 10 years in manufacturing research and development, and a MEng Product Design Engineering, Christine combines her technical understanding with a targeted commercial approach.
In this time she has led major commercial programmes (£5M -£20M) with industry partners, built the initial strategic relationships across a variety of sectors including offshore renewables, life sciences and space, led the centre’s first successful bid into European Space Agency funding, and developed NMIS’ initial Electrification strategy and roadmap. Most recently she is now leading a capability development project for NMIS to set-up an Advanced Semiconductor Packaging and Scale-up capability for the Power Electronics Sector.
