Mari-Anne is a Business Growth & Effectiveness professional with a pan-sector background in the legal, ‘Big 4’ consulting, non profit and ‘Big tech’ industries. MAC’s roles have centred around designing and delivering innovative, successful solutions to foster greater collaboration; connectivity of people to each other, to the resources, and to the key information at the time and in the ways they need it.
Intrinsic to building the best, most effective teams is a culture that embraces and fosters critical components like inclusion, agility and innovation. Diversity underpins these and MAC has led on various Equality, Diversity and Inclusion solutions over the course of my career, including initiatives around gender, race, ethnicity, financial and social equity. She has worked across multiple regions including Americas, Asia Pacific, EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India & Africa) and Latin America, learning from the differing challenges different regions present.
Over the course of her global career working across complex organizational structures, she’s had the opportunity to work at leading organisations including Hogal Lovells, UnLtd, EY and now, Apple. A self-confessed serial entrepreneur with a particular commitment to development in her home country, Zimbabwe and more broadly across Africa, she’s also the founder of her own start-ups designing solutions around the fields of healthcare, equitable access to opportunity, and the sports industry in Africa.
